The Air Force will host a per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) Open House from 6-8 p.m. on April 24, 2024, at the Country Lakes Firehouse (Station #3), 103 Firehouse Road, Browns Mills, NJ, 08015. The Open House will inform the JBMDL's surrounding communities on the Air Force's private drinking water sampling program. See the Community Involvement page for more information.
The next Restoration Advisory Board meeting is tentatively scheduled for Summer 2024, Cookstown Senior and Community Center; both in-person and virtual options for attending.

Overview
The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Environmental Restoration Program is an Air Force program that identifies, investigates and remediates past releases of hazardous substances, pollutants, and contaminants that originated from historical activities and operations. The goal is to reduce risks to human health and the environment in a cost-effective manner that fosters community support.
